Happy New Year!  What a way to bring in the year by going for sightseeing in Agra to the Taj Mahal.  A very long ride but well worth it.  I was in awe of the mahal from even a distance.  Took enormous amounts of pictures and then finally walked inside to see a duplicate of Shah Jahan and his beloved wife.  I was more impressed by the outside then the inside but it is a once in a life time experience.  The marble gallery had a great spokesperson that showed some great marble art work of all different shapes and sizes.  IT was nice to see the artisans’ show how the marble art work is created.
