Urvashi Butalia the author of “The Other Side of Silence” arrived. She entered with a humble face and asked if we had any questions. Of course we did, and maybe a little bit too many and we never got to discuss her book which taught me so much about India and Pakistan. It was always hard to put it down. All the stories were touching and each of them was a lesson of how to appreciate my freedom and lucky situation that I am in. The method that Urvashi Butalia used to do her interviews took 10 years of her life.
Around 4PM we left to visit Old Delhi. What a place. It cannot be described in words, it has to be experienced. The buildings, the people, the narrow streets, and the whole environment it was out of this world. Like I mentioned the Taj Mahal is heaven on earth. Old Delhi looked like the opposite.
